Apparently David Cameron says that if the UK leaves the EU, they'll be no more Fish & Chips, Cups of Tea, Coronation Street and that Peter Kay, along with Dame Judi Dench, will have to be deported to the Falkland Islands...
it's the end if Britain as we know it... according to him, anyway.

Seriously though, the big issue with all this, is actually about 'sovereignty'.
Staying, will be the end of Britain as we know it. We'll become a state, like Ohio or California in the USA. (No disrespect to the USA intended) It's just the pro-EU lobby, are toning this federal intent down... a bit like the original European Common Market was promoted and promised to be way of aiding trade between countries. NOT honest!

Seriously though, London Mayor Boris Johnson, thought the 'Baalgate' was a good thing, when he unveiled the Palmyra Arch a couple of weeks ago in London. He's now been voted out and the Muslim MP Sadiq Khan, is now the Mayor.

If Mr Erdogan was going to stand down, he would have done so already. The news item in todays Washington Post, is implying this. Sensed in 2013 his growing desire to revive and head-up a new Ottoman facist theocracy. Much to pray about here... he has his eyes, ultimately, set on Jerusalem. Time will tell.

Turkish people are hospitable and friendly... I've got a real affection for the place. When I went to Istanbul in 2013, as part of a church ministry team, there was already legislation coming in to make it a criminal act to criticise the PM/President. When freedom of speech is shut down and the press are silenced by threats, it sets up a nation for potential abuse. (Take note Mr Trump!!!)

Please do pray for the nation of Turkey.
